Trapizzino

On the Lower East Side we found a piece of Rome. Trapizzino treated us to a true Italian-style fast food experience! Their specialty is the Roman trapizzino, which is a white triangle-shaped pizza pocket. We loved the one stuffed with beef meatballs and the parmigiana one, with roasted eggplant and tomato. But not only that, they had other Roman specialties such as supplì and carciofi alla giudia, both of which were delicious. Their Italian wines were the icing on the cake. Trapizzino brought us back to the typical Italian aperitivo atmosphere. It's the perfect place to spend some time with friends or family while enjoying authentic Italian specialties. But it is also perfect for a quick bite in typical Italian fast food style!
