Gitano

Gitano is a modern Mexican restaurant with a waterfront lounge  located on Governor's Island. As soon as we arrived, we were transported to the typical atmosphere of Tulum, Mexico. The wooden tables, plants, and live music make you feel like you're immersed in a paradisiacal oasis! We relaxed in the beach-like area and the city view was breathtaking. There were lots of Mexican specialties on the menu, and the tacos were great. It's only open during the warmer season and we recommend making reservations especially if you come during the weekend.
